Pregnancy Timeline

As much as most of us have a love/hate relationship with Facebook, I am so thankful that I was able to look back and revisit my pregnancy.  Here is a list of all status updates that I posted while pregnant with Michael.

February 1

Mason and Madilynn have a new baby on the way! Yup, baby Seguinot is in the baking, expected Oct 14, 2012. We are over the moon! I wasn't going to announce right away, but my sis was so excited she spilled the beans

February 11

I had an awful migraine last night that had me in tears. The only other time I have ever had a migraine before was early in my pregnancy with Mason. In case you’re wondering, I am convinced the baby is going to be a boy.

March 2

Ordered the Boba wrap. We have appointments set up to interview 2 local midwives who do homebirths. I am so excited to be in control and calling the shots for this pregnancy and birth! :)

March 5

Oh my goodness, I am so exhausted! How can an itty bitty, little baby the size of a green olive manage to suck up ALL of my energy? This growing babies stuff sure is hard work! :)

March 8

So over this first trimester exhaustion! It wasn't this bad with either pregnancy before. I don't even think a caffeine IV would help at this point :/

March 14

"You were burning up last night, I don't know if it was your oven baking or a fever." -Pete to me yesterday. LOL. My silly hubby makes me smile

March 18

Aww baby is about 5 oz and 3 inches

March 19

I can't wait to start feeling those baby wiggles

March 24

I'm excited to say I got all 3 of my babies matching Christmas jammies, so cute!

March 26

Consultation with midwife #2 today, I hope we are a good match!

March 28

What an awesome day! Met with the midwife, clicked, and hired the midwife! Baby is measuring right on track and I heard the heartbeat for the 1st time, 152 beats per minute!

March 28
(posted in a Facebook group I am in)

I hired a midwife today! I am so optimistic and very excited to be able to have a low key, laid back pregnancy this time around and to have the chance to birth the way I want to.

April 2

Babies are still sleeping and I should be too but I woke up an hour ago to the sound of a man (Pete??? My dad???) yelling my name, clear as day. Checked the house, no one is here but I sure am freaked out. So creepy

April 5

oh my goodness, just finished my first real workout in about 2 years. I survived and even though I wanted to, I didn't quit. :) Here is to my modest goal of 200 miles walked by the time the baby comes. As my midwife said, I'm training for a huge marathon: natural childbirth ;)

April 8

we got a boy name, we got a boy name! We will reveal when we find out the baby's gender, likely in the beginning of May.
14 weeks

April 14

Helllloooo 2nd trimester!

April 24

Our midwife comes out for an appointment! Mason & I are so excited to hear the baby's heartbeat again!!

April 24

Baby is measuring right where he should be! Heart rate is 136 today. Wonderful appointment

May 10

Oh my sweet little girl JUST woke up. It is nice having one good sleeper (most of the time). Doing a little snuggling, then working on some alphabet worksheets with Mason. He has been doing a lot of talking about the new baby lately, melts my heart!

18.5 week old baby Michael

May 14

For once I am excited for Monday! Tomorrow hubby has a vacation day and most importantly, we have an ultrasound to see our little belly baby for the first time! Hopefully baby cooperates better than our other 2 did in utero and lets us see the goods! :)

Baby Michael in the womb.

May 15

This mama's intuition was right, I'm now 3 for 3 at guessing my babies gender right from the beginning. Mason and Madilynn are going to have a new little BROTHER in October! We are all so happy and excited! Baby BOY looks great and was moving all around. He is measuring about a week ahead.

18.5 weeks

May 15 (posted in a Facebook group I am in)

I have been doing 2 miles a day on the treadmill before the kids get up. Usually, while listening to my music and doing my thing, I get into this really peaceful state of mine and start to vision the birth of our baby (another boy btw!). Today Ingrid Michaelson's cover of "I can't help falling in love with you" came on and I got all weepy. I can't explain how much I am looking forward to having a peaceful, natural home birth. I know that this is going to be so healing for me and unlike my previous pregnancies; I am not afraid or nervous about labor and birthing when the time comes. I really feel like I am in the mindset I need to be in and I feel so good about it!

June 9

22 weeks  As much as the 1st trimester seemed to drag (especially considering I got my BFP when I was just 3.5 weeks along) I can't believe how fast this pregnancy is flying! Little guy is moving more and more every day and I love every moment!

June 25
We got baby Michael's car seat and bouncy seat! Thankfully, his seat (a convertible, we are skipping the infant seat this time since I  baby wearing) fits in the car with Mason's forward facing seat and Madi's rear facing (HUGE relief!) Slowly but surely, we are getting ready for our little guy.

June 26

measuring right o.n track, heartbeat is around 145 bpm, baby is lying oblique which isn't an issue since we have lots of time left and he changes positions daily. Great visit!

June 26

I am so so so impatient! I ordered the baby's crib set/decor even though I spent days telling myself I was going to wait until the end of July. x_x

June 30

25 weeks  Baby Michael still has about 14-17 weeks left to bake but we have his room done, clothes ready to be washed, car seat ready to be installed, and cloth diaper stash purchased! It feels so nice to be prepared!

July 7

Omg, just realized we are into double digits! 98 days till baby Michael's due date!!!!!!

July 10

I have had 2 babies born with heads FULL of thick, dark hair and didn't have heartburn ONCE. The past few days, I have had on and off heartburn and watch, with my luck, this little guy will be born bald.

July 12

I can't believe how excited the kids were to get the baby's cloth diapers! Mason helped me open up all the packages and unsnap them so they can get prepped. He picked out his favorites and decided which ones Michael will wear first!

July 15

Hello 3rd trimester!!! I can't believe that I am already in my 7th month of pregnancy, it is flying by!

28 weeks

July 21
28 weeks  I love my kids so much, they light up my World and keep me going!
29 weeks

July 27
Bills paid, a super snuggley (& cute!) little guy in my arms, a perfect little sleeping beauty resting in her bed,and a healthy, growing baby boy in my belly doing aerobics of some sort. At this very moment, I am one content mama who is blessed beyond words.  Maybe everything will work out afterall

July 30

Baby Michael is doing great, measuring right on track, heart rate is 144 bmp and he is head down. Midwife appointments every 2 weeks now, hard to believe in 8 weeks, he will be full term. :)

30 weeks

August 1

Nicole got a baby heart monitor today. The kids seem to think that it's a walkie-talkie type of thing that allows them to talk to their little brother. They put on set of headphones on their head, one of nicole's belly, and then the monitor on the belly. Then they just talk about everything. It's soooo stinking cute!

August 9

Yay, I just ordered our birth pool! SOOOO excited!

31 Weeks

August 14
Not really sure what the baby is doing in there, but I sure do feel his estimated 4 lbs with every kick and roll.

August 18

"mom you walk on your treadmill everyday so the baby comes out easier, right?" -Mason hahaha

33 weeks

August 28
baby Michael is doing great, still measuring right on track (34 cm at 33 weeks 3 days) and he is still head down!

September 3
my hubby, babies and family SO much! 40 +/- days till our new baby arrives, we are all so excited to see his handsome little face
Proud mama and daddy

September 7
I'm sure he would attribute it to my "crazy pregnancy hormones" but I was just doing dishes and looking out the window at my hubby mowing the lawn and I got butterflies. After 14 years (in October), he still has my heart and I am blessed to have him.

35 weeks

September 12
Whew, this mama is exhausted and is going to sleep great tonight! I had a great day with my little ones and sister today. Baby Michael is still measuring right where he should be (36 weeks at 35w4d) & he might wind up being smaller than his siblings. Ordering my birth kit tonight :)

September 13

being productive. I had a great Chiro appointment today and I will continue to see him weekly until the baby comes. Speaking of which, as of today, I have ONE MONTH left until our due date (although I am sure he will keep us waiting 6 weeks lol). So exciting!

September 15
hubby is home! It sure does feel like fall has arrived out there, lots of good stuff coming! 36 weeks today which means if Michael decides to come now, we can still have our home birth.

September 16
feeling very pregnant, hormonal and emotional today. :/

September 17

Just throwing this out there, I'm predicting the baby will be born October 21st. I will be 41 weeks 1 day. All of a sudden I just had a strong feeling about that date and I want it documented just in case I am right. ;)

September 20

Watching More Business of Being Born. Hearing celebs talk about their home birth experiences has me so excited and emotional. :) I can't believe I am so close!!

September 23

20 days until our due date and 28 days until I think baby Michael will arrive and I have never felt stronger (mentally or physically) or as empowered in my life.
38.5 weeks

September 29
38 weeks, unreal! I feel great physically (well as great as you could expect for being 9 months pregnant and carrying around about 8+ lbs of baby lol) but I am getting pretty anxious to see our handsome baby boy! We are ready when you are Michael!

October 1

I am currently pming you my numbers (in case you don't have them)!! Can you tell I am a little bit excited to photograph such a beautiful experience! I can't wait to meet baby Michael! ♥ Praying he comes early!!!

October 7

We are in the final strech! 39 weeks! We are waiting for one more thing needed for the birth which should be delivered on Tuesday, then we are ready to get this show on the road. It's highly doubtful but i would be thrilled to have baby Michael come on Wednesday, it would be so special to me if he shared a birthday with my daddy (who will be blowing out 50 candles in heaven.)

39 weeks  4 days

October 10

39 weeks 4 days  as of 12:30 pm today, I am more pregnant than I have ever been! It doesn't look like Michael will share a birthday with his grandpa but i'm just fine with little man picking his own birthday when he is ready! :)

October 11

Today I put the mattress pad on the bed, shaved my legs, and painted my toe nails. You know, just case our thoughtful baby was waiting for me to complete those tasks before he made his grand appearance. ;)

October 13

40 weeks! We can't wait to meet you our sweet little baby! No need to be shy, you can come out now :)'
